It’s never a good time to sell a car you want to keep.

It’s only going to get more difficult to replace these things. If you want something different, fine, but if you love it but just can’t justify keeping it due to lack of use, stop trying to justify it!

I'm not sure.
The car came with the original Carrera Wheels.
I bought and had these Champion Rims installed after a couple years

Agreed. Older cars aren’t depreciating, and it’s nice being able to jump into one I enjoy whenever I want, even if I only get around to driving it once every month or two.

Last year, I sold an old W126 S class I had that I wasn’t driving much. However, that car always felt special and satisfying every time I drove it, and now I miss it. Getting another one like it and then getting it into a well sorted state can get expensive quickly. I’m looking into buying it back from the guy I sold it to since I know its history and quirks.

We need to form an elite car club borrow system here. We can exercise each other’s cars.
My neighbor has a 996 turbo in his driveway. One flat tire that I go over and fill anonymously, and he hasn’t driven it for two years.
I have offered to store it and exercise it, but he hasn’t taken advantage of my kind offer.

O/P - get it uncovered, clean it, drive it, fall In love for the summer.

or price it, like you don’t want to sell it.

wouldn't it be nice if just one guy came on here and didn't do the " im so sad i have to sell as i dont drive it" saga and had the refreshing approach of ' " holy crap i've driven my car for 5 years and can still get someone to pay the high prices so i can make money on it "

..
