Saw my friend’s father-in-law yesterday. He confirmed to me he is getting one. Will likely end up seeing zero mileage like his other cars.

Does your friend's father in law own a Porsche dealership? Not sure how he can confirm he is getting one when none of the dealerships have been given allocations? Unless he is part of the 918 Spyder VIP program....

Yes, original 918 Spyder owner (still has it), plus 991 GT2RS, Ford GT, Senna, 765LT Spyder, etc. 992 GT3 as well (recently sold), 911R (sold), etc. It's a continuing game of offering cars to these types of people and some of the cars they keep and others they sell.
