Had my 997 out a few times now, but only on warmer sunny days. Roads here in Kingston are salt free, although still a little sand around. I put new tires and brakes on earlier this spring so I couldn't wait to take it for a drive. Driving it to Competition Motors in Belleville tomorrow morning to have a new engine coolant reservoir installed and Mobilube PTX 75W90 put in the tranny. Supposed to be sunny tomorrow so fingers crossed.
The care is in great shape, but it's not a garage queen by any means. I bought it to drive it, so drive it I will!

i often wonder if the first purchaser of my car is still alive. I heard it was a player of the BC lions man many years ago but who know really , never had much luck researching the history as it was owned buy few numbered companies through the years.

I hope he drove your car.

When my anxiety gets the best of me and I think that I need to keep less than 10,000 km on my car and/or that I shouldn't drive it when it is raining, I take a step back and consider my own mortality and the fact that we will all be gone tomorrow so who cares if the car isn't pristine. My sobering thought for today that will cause me to drive my car the rest of the week (even though it is supposed to rain (but not snow)) is the following:https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/ar...-s-ukraine-war
