In the west, there are some very long downhill stretches where you don't have to use any fuel at all
I run an engineering firm in Vancouver, and we have developed IP around the efficient use of land and marine based gasoline and diesel engines, power generation, and, thermal management of IC engines. Been working on it for about 20 years now and the trickle down effect of our development is used by the BC and State of Washington governments on an ongoing basis in industrial applications.

It has been lots of fun, and as you can see from above, quite successful.

It also effectively feeds my car addiction.

No, as we are consultants, we have to respect the privacy of our clients, so only general commentary here and my toys with the same ideas applied.

However, in many ways, skilled tuners on this site already do a good part of what we do in that they are able to tune vehicles to run optimally on regional fuel. We just take it a step further.

Congrats! i4 M50 is fantastic...I've had several first glimpses at the pre-production i4 at HO. Do you have a production slot yet? Hopefully will get to order one to replace the SUV soon (empty nester now).

No date yet.... my guess is delivery if lucky December 2022, but may be delayed to early 2023....

at least it's partially offset in fuel savings on a vehicle that might do 10L/100km premium over 20000 km.....

$3560 premium gas @ 1.73/L
vs
$572 electricity at $0.13/KWh

It's also AWD, > 500hp, 795Nm (580ftlb) of torque
