Ended up ordering new!

I will be selling a set of mint condition 987/997 heated, manual 2-way sport seats once the GT2 seats arrive in 1 to 2 weeks, if anyone is interested. They have 19,200 km on them.

I had folding CF buckets on. my 997.2 RS. Did not think they were still available from Porsche here on a new order- just fixed. If so I will get them on my next car.

They are indeed still available to be ordered. There's currently a pair of North American 997 GT2 seats available at Porsche AG right this moment confirmed by PCO and Pfaff, but I decided to order the ROW version from Carnewal as the landed cost is thousands cheaper than ordering through any local dealer. The caveat being that the ROW passenger seat doesn't have an occupancy sensor like north american seats, so the PIWIS must be used to disable the passenger occupancy sensor feature. Other than that, plug and play.

I wonder if they can be ordered on a new build as they used to be. I will check out with my dealer.

I'm pretty sure they can't be ordered for new cars here because they aren't height adjustable which means they don't comply with NA rules regarding airbags and seating position. They weren't available on the 2014-15 GT3 until Porsche started using the 918 seats which have the height adjustment.
