Glorious. I recall chatting with a 911 owner at an Autobahn gas station while on a motorcycle trip and he stated that the biggest issue with heavy footed driving was the frequency with which he had to stop for 'fill'er up'.

 

Heard from German friends that the Green Party will win the next election, and one of the first things they'll do is to put 130km/h speed limit on the autobahn.

 

I have heard that too. There is a real possibility that they may win.

Further, the new EU regs ( I think they have passed ) require limiters on all cars that electronically keep you to the speed limit....

I would think the older performance cars will be very desirable
