trying to buy a new Porsche
#31
Just spoke to the sales manager and he said they really have had no allocations. There is one Boxster customer ahead of me and he went into their system 4 months before me. He speculated that Porsche seems more interested in 911s. He joked that if Porsche doesn't want to build these cars they should stop offering them.
He said I could have a refund anytime I want.
Feeling much better. Salesmen, please keep your customers in the loop!

I agree with you. I like Rolex watches, but I’m not kissing anyone’s *** to buy one...guess I’m not buying another. I like GT4’s, but even if I kiss someone’s ***, being a 2 time new Macan S buyer isn’t going to get me there...guess I’m not buying a GT4. I like C8 Corvettes. Called a dealer that I’ve never spoken to on the recommendation of a friend...treated like a King and should have one this Summer.

I also gave up on Porsches BS, there's no clarity to the process and they will sell whatever they make so why do they care! Used cars are selling for close to msrp; there's just too much money out there. Same as the housing market
Even if you want to drop $200k you're made to feel like its an honour to be allowed to
Anyways prob buying a C7 Z51 this week. Never really considered a Vette but will give it a try. Half the price, 2x the performance!! Maybe it will drive me back to a 911

I sold some parts to a guy in the fall and he showed up in a C7 convertible. Really nice car. If you haven’t seen a C8 in the flesh they really are pretty nice. My dealer could likely have one for you in the fall.
