First time 911 buyer from Gta
Hello everyone, I’ve finally gotten around to registering after lurking for some time . I’m a Porsche enthusiast since as long as I can remember and have finally gotten to a position where I can make my dream come true. I have been searching for allocations for a 992 c2s in the GTA but to no success. I put a small deposit down to be “on a list” for the next batch off allocations however and I’m crossing my fingers I’ll take delivery of a car sometime this year. Here is my configuration would love to here your thoughts...https://cc.porsche.com/icc/ccCall.do...bcode=PMZ1QHF2

Race Car
Welcome to rennlist. Great bunch of (mostly) guys here. I can't think of a 911 that I didn't think was a great car to drive - even the somewhat unloved 996. Having spent 3 or so years back in the day trying just about everything, I chose what I did and would not trade it for anything, Porsche or otherwise. Though 911's have retained their look each model change, the mechanics and driving experience vary dramatically. Try 'em all before you put your cash down. And shopping for toys so much fun!

Burning Brakes
Guards red with the gold wheels, very nice. I would make the brakes black and skip on the red details inside (seatbelts and dials), but thats just me 😉.

I was in your position not too long ago. I had put a deposit down for an allocation around mid-January, after a few months of talking to a few dealerships and narrowing done the model and options I wanted. Took till end of February for me to get an production date, it’ll be in June and delivery targeted for July/August. At this point, I think all the 2021 allocations are done, and the 2022 allocations have not started to be released, so you’re looking at the earliest Aug/Sept production date.

Wow, nice! If you won't be getting it until 2022, maybe you should consider European delivery. Congrats and good luck!
