Default Porsche Cayenne Turbo

Hi there!

Purchased a used Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Driver side leather seat backreat has a very strong perfume smell. Any advice on removing the smell safely would be greatly appreciated!!

I don't think that is true but have never had a need for it. you could put charcoal to absorb the smell and see if that works first. what year is the Pepper?

If it’s just a lingering smell in the cabin, you could try a can of ozone spray. My dog vomitted in the car and had a lingering smell for weeks and was removed by the spray. You can find it at Princess Auto. Did not damage my interior.

Drive the car and any opportunity you get keep the back windows down to air it out do so and it will diminish .... Takes a little while though ...at the end of the day it's only stinky perfume so you know it will fade with a little time. If you park in a private garage and you can keep the windows down when it's parked all the better ...

Change the cabin filter. I think you can buy one that has charcoal ....
What leather package do you have. leather cleaner obviously in the leathery areas..
Your favorite cleaner in the plastic bits.
My macan still has some perfume from the previous owner, but much less.
My 997 was bad too. Lots of cologne. The car even had a few of those little sample bottles in the arm rest.

Amazon Amazon
