Default DYNO PRE - MOD Results - 2011 CS

Since, I am hell bent on doing this right, step by step, attached are the dyno results on my 2011 Cayman S - 6 SPD. Factory specs were touted at 320 HP and 273 Lbs/ FT of torque ...!
I have no idea whether this is normal degradation or not given its life and the 61,000 km on the dial ? But here it is .... once the headers + tune + BMC Air filter go in and perhaps after an adjustment period of a few hundred km ... I will head back to the same ship at the same time and hoping for similar weather and see what happens ! The truth will be confirmed both at the dyno and the "butt". Cheers. Abe

Factory specs are at the flywheel. Your dyno results are at the wheels. There is a +/- 10% drop through the driveline, so your car is still making the stated power.

Power is right on where it should be

Odd that they would do the dyno uncorrected. Will be hard to compare apples to apples after your mods

Looks great!
Where did you get this dyno done in the GTA?
Mustang or Dynojet?
I assume it was a rear wheel dyno?

Not that it matters but here are my results (after mods) from last summer at Eurocharged.

different dynos read with different results. 10% drivetrain loss at a minimum. I thought it was closer to 13% on RWD and ~18% AWD. Can't remember though.

Solid numbers, although the stumble after 6k looks odd. Hopefully, that gets smoothed out.

I've got some parts left over from my 987.2, PM me if you're interested

Pagid Pads, DBA rotors, harness bar, forged wheels

and I think I might have an OEM set of brake lines and brake ducts if you happen to need those too

yeah dynos are funny business....is kind of like a weight scale.....you get a different weight with a diff scale...and even with the same scale you might get a diff weight depending on the time of the day :-)

but speaking of old BMWs and dynos I had the old E63 M6, and the sound of that engine is mesmerizing (here is the dyno plot comparing my old Z4M vs the M6)......day and night diff of course
