Whatever you do, do not buy without a detailed PPI.
Which dealer is this at. I call BS on the just got this in and not on our inventory list, that’s a classic line used to get people to think they have an exclusive opportunity to buy,
I wouldn't bother with a PPI. Here is a DME report, alignment and it needs tires. Can I haz 300-500$ ??
I had a 991 and the infotainment is definitely a step behind the 992. Having said that, the all black switches in the 992 looks good at first glance but I found the old fashion switches in 991 to have more of a premium feel.
As another poster said, go drive both a 991 and 992 and get a feel for the two.
If depreciation is an important factor, you might be slightly ahead in the 991, depending on how long you plan to keep the car.
Thanks guys - (BudFox) I will share pics when it arrives. Just finalizing paper work. Out of province purchase requires a little more dotting the i's and crossing the t's.
Dyim- I prefer the 4 because my intention is to drive this car. I am sure I can make do with a 2 and a nice set of winter tires but I've never driven a RWD car, let alone one in the winter. Wouldn't the tail spin out of control?
Traction control systems on these new cars are amazing so the tail won't just spin out! A 2wd is very manageable with the proper tires. You also have great weight over the rear tires for traction, but if you want to drive in deep snow get a Subaru.

I drove a 991.1 GTS in the Toronto winter for 4 years with a set of Michelin PA4 tires and it was amazing in the snow. All of the weight over the rear equals a ton of traction, it was far better than any of my previous cars (M3, C63, etc) in the snow and never got close to being stuck. Ground clearance could potentially be an issue but the same holds for any 911 model.
In my case my commute was very short (<5kms) so if you expect to be driving far and wide during the winter not a bad idea to go with the GTS4. There is some trade-off via additional weight of the AWD system but likely not enough to impact your day to day enjoyment.
that’s pretty awesome. In my case the commute would be 20km, driving the back roads through Puslinch area. I don’t plan to drive it in snow storm weather or hard core slush weather. Crisp dry winter days and summer.
guys - paper work is complete. Thanks for all the comments. I look forward to sharing pics when I go pick it up. Will be a couple of weeks as it’s coming from West side.

Ive been following the market closely, I would do some due diligence on that.
That is a steal for a 2018 high MSRP with less than 10k. From a dealer with CPO? And why wouldnt they test the market first seeing as everything is priced above that now. And selling to out of province buyer? It all sounds too good to be true. Is it the local tax on 100k cars that pushed their market down?
A couple of months ago there was a 2017 4 GTS for 130k with about 15k kms from 3rd party dealer that sold quickly, think it had stories too.

I do agree that your price is ridiculously cheap, The orange one at Oakville just sold. Let's say that person got it for $140k, that build was only 164k. When I was looking at one at Porsche Vancouver the shipping to Toronto was around $2300. There was one I considered in Montreal and to get it CPO'd it was about 5k. So when you said your price I was like that's awesome, then with CPO and shipping that's another level. The only reason I can see why, is that it's end of season and they don't want it sitting there. Best of luck and hope you just got a great deal. I don't want to take from your joy, just providing perspective.
