What was the original source for this stuff? 20L is way more than I need, but at the same cost as 5L from the dealer here in BC, it's probably worth it.

Yeah, I can get it from the local Porsche dealer, but it's $62/liter, which is a bit nuts when 20L is under 300. If you wanted to see what it would cost to ship out here that'd be great, but no worries if it's a hassle. I'll look for a BC Shell distributor.

Motul Gear300 75w90 (standard version, not the LS version) is an excellent oil for our transaxles, don't bother chasing down the Shell

It's not so much the hassle of shipping, its the repackaging from a 20L pail to 1L containers that is the real hassle. If I were you I would scoot down to the Shell distributor, buy a pail and then split the cost with other local Porsche owners. That brings the cost down to less than $15 per L. Not sure if prices vary but here on the east coast it costs $228 plus tax for a 20L pail and most distributors keep this in stock. If not, one week delivery is what they told me.
