i agree with this ..
I have been giving " the speech" for a lot of those cruises for years before we start as a reminder . We have had the odd exception tool who will remain nameless , but for the most part people our cruises have been very well behaved and our contributions to the local food bank have been very well recognized in local papers.

With the weather looking a little cool and other concerns I have moved the Spring cruise to Sunday, May 24th. Lord knows we all could likely use a little therapy cruise at this point and some interaction even if it's from a distance in our cars. There is lots of construction down in Nagara including the tunnel, so this cruise has been moved to north/west GTA.
I have a route in mind that will start north of the 401 in Milton. Same start time at 9 am-ish.
Save the date, more details to come.
FYI, interesting article.

Thanks for the article. Sounds like authorities were struggling to lay some charges.

Yes, the route is going start on the outskirts of Milton and it will end in Erin, approximately 86 km. First post updated.

'“The real question is: was this necessary, was this essential?” said Luey. “What would have happened if there had been a car accident? Then there would be first responders there, exposed to other people.”
Oh f**k off. Just because of this **** - I'm in!

We do pass by an Esso station near the midway point of the cruise. For obvious reasons we really can't roll into a gas station as it would expose the group to possibly breaking social distancing rules. We will have to see where things are closer to the day. Now if the situation is the same as today we could possibly stop on a side road near the Esso, and then let one car at a time go to the gas station, then once re-collected we could continue on the cruise. Personally I do not want to use any public washroom, I'm also not sure if they are even open to the public. I plan on pre-driving this weekend, so stay tuned.

In my recent experience, most gas station washroom facilities have been closed. Supermarkets washroom facilities are hit and miss. Some are open, and some aren't. Bit of a luck of the draw, but I hope for the sake of the cruise, there will be a washroom available.
