Default Source for BMC intakes?

Hi all - hope everyone is safe and healthy!

I opened the engine bay of the 964 yesterday before firing it up for a drive and found that my BMC intake filter had fallen off the intake tract!

The rubber collar had degraded, cracked and finally failed. No clue how long I've been driving around without a filter. : (

In any case - I'm looking for a pretty specific version of this - as many of you may recall - my motor is a bit of one-off - 964 block with mostly 993 intake bits and an outboard controller with lots of custom programming. Works great - but not "off the shelf". : )

In any case - I appear to need a FBTW100-140P, but WITH a sensor hole - since my configuration has a sensor mounted in the intake track at the filter.

Any ideas where to get one?

Thanks!

RK

Can you just get a same dimension K&N and drill a hole for the sensor?

Good question - can I? I'm easy as to which filter I run. Is there a similar K&N item? Part of the challenge is that I need the fitting to be long enough to mount the sensor - or I'll have to fab an adaptor/extension.

Open to ideas/suggestions on this.

Go on their website, look for their catalog. Years ago I bought a filter by looking at their specs (length, width, base length, cone shape, etc.) and picked one by selecting the dimensions.

RK the Filter looks OK, unless I'm not seeing something,...just clean it with a K&N Filter Charge Kit. You said "The rubber collar had degraded, cracked and finally failed" so why not just replace the so called "rubber collar". Are you reffering to the 3 inch Silicone Sleeve like this
3 inch ID Sleeve from Vibrant 3 inch ID Sleeve from Vibrant
. You have a pic of the part?
