I love Spa also. I know that spot exactly , When I was driving there in June my instructor was very clear about Eau Rouge and Radillon- the apex at the top is completely blind and when you crest it the car unloads completely and if you are off line at all is it very difficult to correct. Obviously I was not doing anything close to F1 speeds to say the least, but it took a bit of time to get the line right. Very sad to lose a driver so young and talented.A freak sequence of events that would be very difficult to anticipate or prevent. A sad way for Leclerc to score his first F1 victory also.

It is difficult to see how steep the rise is until you walk down , and when you look up the apex is completely blind.

Not in a Panamera for sure, but when I had the 997RS there years ago it unloaded in a flash, and with no stability control or the modern aids it was certainly very apparent, and believe me, at a fraction of the speeds of the lighter weight professionally driven F1 cars. I cannot even imagine that feeling. Looking at the accident there was just nowhere to go and not sure there way anything he could have done with a driver error from another error that cause him to move to the right.

yeah the tragic part was that it happened so early in the race that all the cars were piling in with no where to go or no room to react.

That's a pretty significant speed differential!
