Looking for a mechanic to inspect 928 and run diagnostics scan
Hi there,
I'm new to this forum, so hi everyone who shares this same Passion for Porsche :-)
I'm currently thinking of buying a 928 in the Toronto area and I'm looking for a mechanic or someone who knows the 928 (1990-1995) well and could do an inspection and run a diagnostics scan at the place of purchase. Payment could be discussed prior to meeting.

Send a PM to Adamant. BUT the best would be to get the car up on a lift to inspect the thrust bearing clearance. Is the seller willing to have the car inspected off site?

Hi Imo,
Thanks for the advice. It's a manual, so the thrust bearing clearance risk does not apply, correct? It's complicated to have a PPI done off site, that's why I really need someone who knows the car well to test and run diagnostics.

Imo,
