......rain, fog, sun, more rain.....one of those days. Actually quite "educational" as we experienced wet, drying, dry, and then ridiculously wet track conditions at speed during the course of the day--kept you on your toes if nothing else!

Got two decent runs on a damp track to start the day before the fog arrived, and STAYED, for most of the morning. Mike at pit-out exclaimed he'd never seen fog that dense stick around for that long--needed a stiff breeze but didn't get it.

Finally the sun did arrive with a vengeance and we were able to go like hell for the rest of the day until about 4pm when the really torrential downpours arrived (just as I was packing up to hit the road ) and followed me all the way into Bowmanville, where the sun held court once again!

Despite it all, did manage seven runs on the day on a sparsely-populated track so tons of room--that and all the cool people and cars both familiar and not made it a very enjoyable day. Not to mention hearing about Iain's (aka Coop) seat saga for his incredible new GT3RS

So, once again, hats off to Gerry and the Apex gang for a great event--combining run groups yielded tons of track time....and a huge thanks to Mike, Frank and the rest of the track marshals for making the necessary judgments to keep us safe all day under trying conditions.......so I could get home and relive the day as I am right now!

That was an amazing day got more laps in, then back in June . The most memorable part for me was getting to do a couple laps in the Aerial Atom , that was insane .

Glad you guys checked in and enjoyed the day as I did.......I'm up at Watkins Glen now for a couple SCCA days with perfect weather (for once ) and hoping for the same with 6thGear next week. Hope to see you!

Just got home from the Glen so I'm track-wacked anyway Perfect time/mind to watch, and what a superb video it is! From the music to your driving to the bikes, an incredible 4 minutes. I don't feel so bad now as after you passed me you got that Rad just as quickly!

Great job all round! Now I really can't wait for 6thGear next Wed!

No, unfortunately I was not.....just returned from Mid-Ohio and now getting ready for WGI (i.e tires) so had to miss it. It was hot, sunny and beautiful here in Buffalo today and I hope it was the same for you!

Only spent the afternoon at Mosport, still great fun!

Link to first session, pressures not dialled in yet, lapping with a Mercedes Race car! Lap time 1 sec faster than with 720!

Oh man, can't wait to see that......Ferrari Club 9/13-15; molto bene! I won't be there for that one but will be back up at Mosport on the 11th and either the 17th or 19th.
