a few degrees like a sloped garage floor will make zip difference and wasn't intended to. I think Porsche would have a bubble level on the car sill if it was that important. just don't be parked on an obvious hill and it will be fine.

👍

I mistakenly knowing went over up to 0.2L on last change. Easy quick fix with one dropping of the oil canister. More careful next time with priciest measurements...

buying the 911 and driving it has been a ton of fun. Maintenance is also starting to be fun and challenging... lol

Wow guys. This isn't rocket science.
You think .2 liters or a slight incline will make that much of a difference how do you ever get your tire air pressure perfect.

I measure the volume of oil that comes out by putting the used oil back into empty 4L jugs. Then I just add back what came out. It adds a few minutes to the change and increases the chance of making a mess, but the peace of mind is worth it IMO.

my point was these bs sensors are extremely sensitive even in a 996. while the 996 has both a sensor + dipstick, 997 and newer only has the electronic reading

if I am on a slight incline in my garage it will show +/- 1 bar depending on if I back in or not

So your car will roll out of the garage and onto the street if you don't put the parking brake on?

That's normal. Most car will roll out of the garage into the street without putting the parking brake on, my garage is the same. It is designed this way so water don't accumulate inside.

Why not? Mine will roll out on its own. Take a bit of time to start then it will roll out.
I think 1/4" per foot is normal. That adds up.

This. Mine is sloped enough for water but the cars won't move on their own.

It doesn't matter what it adds up to it's still a ratio of slope over distance. Just because your car is 14ft long the slope didn't get ant steeper!

sloped garages are no joke... and can have disastrous results.
