does anyone have someone very competent to recommend for paint protection film in Montreal? someone you would trust with your brand new 911.

Give Matt or Andrew a call at WeTune /AGM ,they have a lot of customer cars with the film protection ...surely
they can recommend somebody !

+1 I've had Jolifilm do two of my cars, and the guy was fantastic to deal with. He came to my place to install. His prices were great. He was quick to do any repairs.

The product I had at the time was cut film, so not wrapped around the edges of the panel. I'm not sure if he does that, which is, I assume, what you would want on a brand new 911.

VAG Motorsport uses the L’avale Protex guys and a friend of mine had his 100% covered in PPF, including the windshield. It’s phenomenal. You really can’t tell.
