Default Cell Phone Holders??

Question, what do you guys have for cell phone holders in the 911's? The way the vents are concaved, most of the holders are useless.

I have had 2, the 1st that fit in to the CD slot on the PCM - worked fine. I just replaced my pcm with a new Kenwood HU so no more CD slot. I got a window suction cup mount so that the phone can be landscape positioned just below the rear view mirror. Also works well. It didnt move from that spot in my last leg 5500km journey. Can also be used for filming if your in to that. I also find its easier to view as you just have to glance sideways to see it for directions rather than down. All from Amazon

The Rennline one seems pretty neat, but I haven't pulled the trigger on getting one yet. I'm not a real fan of having a magnetic sticker on the back of my phone case.

It works great and magnet doesn't affect anything unless you have the brand new iphone that charges on charge tray. Then you need to put magnet on lower half of the phone

I tried the magnetic clip that slots into the air vents but the vent is too concaved to allow the phone to magnetize on. I don't like to have the suction or to really have the phone obstruct any of my view.
You would think Porsche would have a few of it's own products for their vehicles.

Ya and it would be a Porsche design $1200 cell phone holder

If you dont like to use the vents, then try the CD one.

The suction doesnt really impede your view if its up beside the rear mirror. Is looking down any safer than looking towards the mirror?

Go look on Amazon, there are 100's of them. I think mine was $15

The Kenu holders are my favorite. Small, but very functional.

Check out https://t-design9.com/phone_mount_981.html

I have the universal pressure fit one in my Boxster and the magnetic one in my 911. Have a Kenu in my wife's Q5 and its functional but it comes off the vent slats regularly ...

If any of you Rennlisters plan on getting the Rennline cell phone mount, let me know. Could potentially consolidate an order to save on shipping. Thanks!
