Default Went for a drive

I couldn't wait anymore. Last weekend I went and took my car out and then again a few times during the week and then again Saturday morning but this time I said I know I will give it a real test and go on a mini road trip. it was a little rainy and foggy but that didnt bother me much. I just took off on the 401 and then around 2-3 I was like I'm a little hungry I know what I need. A little White Castle so I cross the boarder but the boarder guards didn't like that I drove from Toronto to Detroit to get some burgers, needless to say they asked me a bunch of questions and tore apart the car looking for who knows what. After they were done I was on my way 5 min later I had my burgers, they were not worth the drive lol back over to Canada 15 min later no hassle at all. and back home for a mostly drama free first road trip of the year. Car ran like a champ. I just ordered a new header and a bunch of new parts so the car will be going in for some spring service as soon as everything gets here. Cant wait for the long sunny days,

Took a brief drive myself on Friday before winter came back. By Saturday we were back into a mess, sadly.

You ate White Castle! I ate there once while at the Univ of Windsor many moons ago, barely made it across the border, highly explosive burgers....

Was out Friday as well! Car started like a champ.
Have not driven with 3 pedals in awhile, great fun. Hope it warms up SOON!

Just got back from a drive

5500 kms from LA to Toronto

Passed through Detroit. If you were going to go out for a drive you could have picked a better road than the 401 to Detroit!! That has to be the most boring stretch of road i encountered in 5500 kms. Actually prob the most boring in my whole 12,000 km trip

401 to Detroit is indeed brutally boring. I once drove from Banff to Toronto and the drive across the Prairies was equally as boring but much much longer.

Took the 928 out for a spin, stop by a neighbor 2 streets over for a chat and then the bastard did't want to restart. The battery was low, by the time I put a booster pack on it already flooded the engine so called the wife and she towed me home with a tow rope from the snowmobile. They were all laughing at me

I find a certain majesty in the plains/prairies and their grain elevators etc. Sometimes i didnt pass a car for an hour. 401 just depresses me

Reminds me of the bright green Lambo parked on Lakeshore in downtown Oakville last summer with booster cables hanging out of it. Likely didn't drive it much and not enough juice to get it restarted … not a good look
