GT3 Bypass
Hey there after a very long and confusing search i think i have decided to go with a GMG center bypass for my 14 GT3 . Does anyone have any contacts where to buy one ? A N Toronto dealer wants 3250 plus tax as well as 700 plus tax to install , but judging other threads this is something i could do at home ? I'm no mechanic but i can do basic things i don't believe the bumper has to come off id rather not have to do that . I'm getting pretty excited spring is around the corner . Any info would be greatly appreciated thx .

take a look at these guys. They are local ( Huntsville ) . plenty of people here on rennlist that rave about this exhaust. plus its cheap compared to the other vendors. Id take a ride up to their facility and check it out for sure, will be a fraction of the price of the others your considering.

IMHO side bypass is the better route, realistically you want to take the bumper off for any exhaust work- very easy to do

My biggest concern is not getting the bumper fitted correctly after , maybe its a non issue ? Why is side bypass better ? I haven't heard of that ive spent a month watching you tube videos on center bypasses , now i have to spend another month on side bypass lol . I will check it out thx Rob

bumper is pretty much a 100% no brainer to remove and put back on... as long as you aren't messing with any mounting brackets once its off it'll fit exactly right going back on.
side bypass makes the car much lighter, less heat soak, and makes a simpler exhaust... sound is in IMHO perfect for a street car.
centre bypass is nice as it deletes the failure prone centre muffler and retains the valves if you aren't sure about sound levels you want
if I had a GT3, side bypass would be it

side bypass.. lots of bark, basically what a Cup exhaust is

you don't need to take bumper off to install a center bypass just loosen the side mufflers and clamps then you can slide it out one side at a time, I've done it many times on the floor just reversed on top of my motorcycle ramps to give me about 3 extra inches of height!!! very easy and can be done under 1/2 hour

I'd start with side bypass and go from there... really a nice sound level
