That 959 has been circling the local scene for decades lol

i have a pic of it at autoforum with the engine out of it somewhere and at a local PCA event at appleby college. it seems to be aging well.

Does it just keep changing hands? I only ever see it in dealer showrooms.

It's not for sale anymore...$1.5m price tag. They just spent $100K on the engine.

From a gathering at Bayview/401 back in 2012. Seems to be sitting a lot lower.
Lot's of money just to keep it running and not driving

That's a shame. I'd give my proverbial left ******** to drive that car. For me that's the holy grail, right there.

that car has been at the place a few years. maybe it's the colour. maybe it's the weird old ford dealership its sitting in. but it's awful looking car.

That's the problem with the 959.. It's not pretty like an F40 or has the mystique of the last car Enzo signed off on. It's not dripping in excess like the XJ220. Great performance but it's to me not a very memorable car

Totally disagree. I never thought the F40 was "pretty" in any way - it was raw and muscular. Great looking, but not pretty. The 959 on the other hand was smooth and rounded, and to 11-year-old me in the mid-80s looked like the future, like a 911 travelled back in time, whereas the F40 looked like machinery.
