New to me Macan s after 997.2, 991.1, 987.1
For purely financial reasons I traded my 997.2 C4S on a 2015 Macan S; and wow! what a vehicle! I thought whenever I drove it I'd be missing my 911, and yes, it's not as light, nimble, powerful, or as in-touch with the road as my last 911, but it's an amazing vehicle. Previous to this I had a 991.1C2 and before that a 987.1 CS (which is my favorite of all the Porsches I've had). I cannot believe how great this SUV is. The steering and feedback are great, the road feel is great, the responsiveness is great, the PDK transmission is great (and I am a die-hard manual guy who is looking forward to getting a GT4 with a a stick next), and it's a fast car too. All while being luxurious (none of my other cars had all the luxury options on this car). For anyone who is wondering, The Macan S is Porsche through and through. It feels and performs like a Porsche. It really is basically a sports car for 5, as Porsche likes to say (though may be a bit cramped for that!). I dare say I am actually enjoying this car more than I enjoyed my 991.1 C2.

Congrats!
I'm debating this or a used F30 3 series next year to replace my current E90 daily. But I'm on the fence with giving up a manual sedan for a crossover ... don't "need" the crossover size but I've always liked the Macan.

Macan S is a great vehicle. Totally made my 911 feel unnecessary for daily use.

Congrats! I had a 2015 S and loved it. I’m going to get a 2019 S late next year and it will likely replace my 993 as my Porsche.

Congrats! I’ve been rearching a CUV for year-round driving and I keep getting drawn back to the Macan. Porsche just seems to do it right.

Fence time for months now this thread a timely coincidence.
We of three vehicles until today, our 99 one owner RAM packed it in..needing a tow.
The C4S hibernating our V70R becomes DD for the winter till we find the right Macan S.
Needing 1D6 option for towing a small trailer and a few option and colour preferences
we're on the hunt/wait. No doubt from all that have posted a 340 hp Leipzig built compact SUV
will fit our bill here in the mountains of B.C.

The Macan is a great suv. Our kids are out on their own, so perfect size for my wife and I - golf gear, cottage runs, etc.
Like many, we've owned a bunch of suv's over the years (MB, Volvo, BMW, Lexus, RR …) and for us both it is / has been the best one - most fun to drive, solid feel to it, well planted on the road.
My wife loves it - still think I can take her in the 4S though … or at least hope I can
