If those rims are light green then it looks like the one I used to see every now and then in Guelph this year.

Most likely accident. I haven't seen the car to assess if it is rebuild-able or not. Intercoolers are gone, exhaust, rear deck lid doesn't look too healthy. But as long as the rear quarter pannels are not buckled, and the car is straight...maybe?

Sneaky ba$tards, they striped the damaged parts to look more appealing to the unsuspected buyer.

Sort of. It is being sold salvage by a local wrecker. My aim would be to get it to rebuilt title and drive the $hit out of it.

It will need a structural inspection so make sure you have someone with unibody straightening knowledge inspect this before you bid. The rest of the car looks good https://starkautosales.com/item_deta..._num=MMON86333

Are you sure that is the same car? It has half the mileage.

EDIT: Ok, so the VINS match...

Wouldn’t something like that need to sell for $5k to be worth it? Let’s say that a story free good 996TT is worth about $55k, a rebuilt one is probably $40-45k. Who knows what cost to repair this one is but let’s say $25k. So you’re at $15k ish k to break evenish. You’d want it for $5k maybe $10k, no?

You could probably recover that by parting it out if you changed your mind.

I think that is the math.

I called Stark. They want way too much to make this a viable option.

Not surprising. If the engine is fine you’d get $15k for that pre labour. They’re pricing it against part out which makes it challenging to repair.
