I tried downtown and midtown Porsche in Toronto. No luck. I'd like to order a GT3 with the manual transmission. Does anyone have any connection? I intend on tracking the car. If I can't find an allocation, I will probably go with my next choice -- 2016-7 Viper ACR.

I think it'll be tough to find a buildable allocation now. However I think MY19 allocations will come mid to late November. Just need to have the right mix of spend at a dealer to get one.

However there is a 911R with 350km for sale.

According to my dealer on Friday ... 2019 GT3s coming to Canada. Allocations not distributed yet.
More GT2 RS as well.

My car is complete and has a VIN. Should see it in six weeks or so. Just in time for winter.

In all seriousness, if you want a car from the dealer at list price you have to have a bit of history there- I do not belieive that connections work at all. The dealer receives an allocation ( typically do not know how many initially) The decision by the dealer is based on when you out down a deposit plus what your ownership history is If you are a flipper for instance you will have a harder time than if you buy the car for actual driving.. if you have had previous Porsches and service them at the dealer this is a good thing.
Its tough to start at a GT3 or GT3RS as your first buy, Porsche corporate does not take the location decision. Essentially 100% of the cars re pre-ordered by customers so there is no showroom inventory.
