I vote satellite radio ant as well. The model I used in my old '05 Boxster S looked exactly the same.

I think it’s one of those boxes that records and reports every activity the driver does (speed, g force, turning without signalling).

Thanks for the reply’s. The car doesnindeed have satellite radio capability though I’m not subscribing to it. Perhaps that is indeed what it is.
