If any one was looking to watch this years race, Discovery Velocity is showing the race from start to finish.

I guess I'll have to withhold my annual rant about lack of coverage

Now if only there were more LMP1 competition. Alonso has a great chance of winning (and getting the second jewel of the triple crown) but it just won't be the same w/o some of the other big brands.

I watched parts of the race via a YouTube stream from the onboard cameras of the four Ford GT cars which also had the audio feed of the British Radio Lemans folks. Not idea, but good enough I guess and then in the last hour of the race I found another YouTube stream that actually showed what I guess was the normal TV feed of the race. Less than ideal this year because in previous years the race was available on YouTube streams.

As far as the race was concerned, it was kind of a snoozer in regards to the LMP1 class. Short of reliability issues and not finishing, was Toyota ever going to lose? No ... The Hybrids may have awesome technology, but they are killing the race, at least the race up front. But congrats to Porsche for taking the top two slots in the GT Pro category. One only needs to watch the recent GT2 RS record lap around Nordschliefe to know Porsche has upped their game in the last year or two.
