Amazingly well....it has towed cars on trailer for about 50.000km, never been garaged, been off roaded, the lot. Out in the Canadian winters all of its ten years. Lots of nicks and scratches but it has been great.

and 420 km left until it needs gas at half tank. How many kms do you get per tank and how big is that tank?
Congrats btw.
how are the sunroof drains (especially if parked outside)? They clog and either fill your headliner or floor with water (battery is located there).

Dan: Standard V8 tank,so 80 litres I believe. Pic was taken on a highway run from AZ to Ontario but driven briskly.

No sunroof. - this was a stripper spec bought just for the V8 and was a working vehicle from new. No nav ,no full leather , no air suspension etc. Definitely not a show pony. I have a Wrangler and a Smart ForTwo that are also worked hard, while the other cars are a bit more pampered.

I've always like the stripper.
And I'm talking cars. And I've had some bad cars.
What do I need/like on a car? Power brakes, power steering, power locks, power windows are nice, vented disk brakes... four of them. electric start.
So, you can see from my list, I have had some basic cars.
Ronan - no broken nav, no air suspension failure, no leaking roof. Good to see it trucking along, as designed.

All I ever wanted was air, cruise and three pedals. That was when I lived out west.

Now all I want is a flashing sign on the front that says "Get out of the left lane"

Ronan,
I don't care where you took the picture, the number that caught my eye is 9, as in 9 degrees C. It finally feels like Spring!

I think mine will rust out before the engine dies in her. 2005 with 320k. Rust signs are showing near the wheel well mud flaps. It had a hard life for salted winter roads and a warm garage. Would have been better left outside during the winter.
