Quebec car low km yes or no?
Hi all
Looking at a 997.2 that has a short history in quebec. It was originally bought there. It does have low km and looks to be in good condition overall. Is there any specific concerns I should have regarding the quebec history? Why does it seem that cars in Quebec are cheaper on average than their counterparts?
Thanks for the info
Rob

My experience has been that Quebec cars generally have a harder life, I think due to poorer road maintenance and more salt use. I think the stigma of their past poor performance with ensuring titles were clean is still hurting their resale value, even though that hasn't been an issue for years.

In Quebec kilometres are not tracked through DMV or emission test..It makes it very easy to have the km rolled back without any history...
I have a friend that bought a tdi Jetta which had 200k km rolled back in Quebec.. He found out about a year after puchase, but luckily the car never gave him any issues..

Lots of damaged/flooded vehicles are from Quebec...

Is it from a Porsche dealership?
I saved over 10k buying from Porsche Lauzon over Pfaff.
It's no different from buying a car from a 3rd party dealership in Ontario which is worse than Quebec.

I think the computer will show mileage or at least hours. Quebec cars still show up with clean titles and lower miles than the car has. Be careful.

No place has perfect cars. Buy the best one that has the proper documents. Always have a PPI done

Ontario cars are the same.... All provinces ar equally good/bad.
Toronto's "axis of evil" Dufferin to Keele between Finch to Steeles is probably the worst area to buy used cars in Canada.
