Wondering if anyone has added PSE to there 997.2. I just purchased a fully loaded 2012 997.2 C4S. The only option is dosen't have is a PSE. I have looked into the Sharkwerks and Fister mods and i'am considering this ,but i would like to have the OEM PSE. My dealer in British Columbia quoted me around $6000.00 Tax included (12%) here in BC. Would love to know if anyone has gone this route with your local Porsche dealer and costs.

I had factory PSE installed on my 991.1S. The Porsche dealer discounted the parts 10% and there was four hours labour. Total cost excluding tax was $3,100.00. I remember because it was $200.00 less that if the factory option price at that time. A non S model is approximately $500.00 more in parts. I had this done in 2013 on a 13 991.1S. Inflation has not doubled the price since then.

Do the fister and save yourself $5500. You'll get the same sound

Yes the option of PSE is very expensive to be installed after the fact. I tried bypass, but it just wasn't there.....Fister exchange is a decent option.

I had the Pfaff Sport exhaust done last fall using my existing cans (3), obviously with no on/off switch. Sound is real sweet, very happy with the result.
At least in my conversations with Pfaff, no way you'll get pse installed today for $3000, closer to $6,000 per Damon.

Had the Phaff sport mod done to my 981 when purchased new. Sound is amazing and no switch to malfunction. I can control the sound to some extent with the sport button. I think I paid about $1500.

They cut open the mufflers and change the configuration of the baffles. You can tell them how loud you would like as they can play around with location inside.

For the 996 its a "J" pipe maybe 1 1/2' dia. joining the muffler inlet pipe to the outlet pipe not sure about the other 99X models
