Default CETA - EU Free trade - what does it mean for car imports?

Hey all,

I am a bit confused if we currently have free trade with EU or not? Specifically, if you import a German car, do you still have to pay the 6% duty or not?

Anyone knows?

Thanks

AFAIK the treaty is phased in and duty on cars will fall away in time. Of course that will probably become offset by a need to increase MSRP.
