Aftermarket warranties are not all bad. We got approval for 3 claims today with 3 different companies. We are an "approved" shop for these companies. Don't start the claim yourself, let your shop take care of it. They should have a relationship with the company which means the company trusts them to be honest about what needs to be repaired and what condition the car is in. We are yet to have a claim denied for something that is covered under a policy. Only once, 3 years ago, did one company send someone out to verify the work. This was our first claim with them. It was a GT3 that lost a tooth off first gear, which made it through the gearbox. You can imagine the size of that claim. They approved right away after the adjuster visited.

Lubrico is certainly one of the good ones. On today's claim they paid for a part that wasn't part of the coverage as well.

Some are good, some are OK and some, well....

Ten year old car.
Buyer is looking for "you" to put an aftermarket warranty on it?
My Scooby senses are tingling.
Sounds like too much work, and they will burn you in the last seconds of the transaction.
Sure, look into it for them.
Really? Keep looking for another buyer.
