Default Seeking Advice on 07' Cayman / Dealer

Any advice in advance of going to look at the following 07' Cayman. I have never heard of Black Swan garage however from a limited google search it sounds like the owner (Lee Munro) is a Corvette guy that sells the 'odd' Porsche. Thanks,

Have a Porsche mechanic do a PPI and scope the engine cylinders for scoring.

A 2.7 Cayman isn't really a candidate for bore scoring, however a ppi is always a good idea. That's enough money for that car in my opinion, should be able to get an 987.1 S for close to that price. Especially at this time of year.

I believe that car was on TradeRev and the highest price went to 22k and some change

You can find an S for that price if you wait/look around. We have sold a few S for less.. Mileage was a bit higher but nothing to go crazy about

On PCAUCR there is an 08 Cayman S for slightly higher but negotiable I think. Desirable options, black on black, well maintained. For a grand or 2 more get an S.

I think that you can get a 987.2 Base for close to that money. Much improved over 987.1. I would buy a higher mileage 987.2 over a low mileage 987.1 Not to mention that 987.2 Base is a 2.9L and is very close to 987.1 S's power output. It will also be much more fuel efficient than both of the S models.
