I originally wanted the group buy to benefit all as we don't all live near the border. Hopefully the Canadian distributor gets back to me. If not, you've presented a good option :-)

Mike did you end up buying a jack? I got one a couple weeks ago. Took about two weeks to get from the day I ordered as they were backordered.
I've had the car up on it a couple of times already and will be using it soon to change my wheels/tires and the wheels on our X1 for the winter. So far so good. Feels way safer than jack stands.

Good to know your happy with them to date. I have not purchased yet as my Indy gave me an unintended oil change during my last service. Planning on purchasing in the spring. 😁

I've left two additional voice messages and hit them up on Facebook so we'll see if we get a response.
In the meantime, I've checked with this outfit in Montreal for a mid lift scissor. He'll give a $100 discount for a minimum of three orders, taxes in, shipping extra.

I'd entertain selling my lift. It's been in storage for the part year (Huntsvillle) but I can transport it for you within reason, you pay trailer rental and gas. It looks like I'll have almost 15ft high ceiling in my new place so i'll go with a two poster. $1250.00 OBO. http://www.hanmecsonlift.com/HPMR6000.asp

This is the best design for a scissor lift I've seen for 911 owners. Some scissor lifts have a big foot print under the car with structural cross beams that prevent you from having enough clearance to drop a 911 engine and transmission in one lump onto an engine cart. With my DirectLift, I have to position the car as far forward as possible in order to clear the rear cross beam and it's super close.... All others, SnapOn, Bendpak, etc, make 911 engine drops impossible without modifying the most rear centre beam. This Hanmecs one solves this entirely.

It's worse than it looks .. I've got two of those racks from etrailer .. seriously well made, expandable and they bolt into the studs .. something essential here in earthquake country. https://www.etrailer.com/Enclosed-Tr...x/TWSPTSR.html Things are a little messy in Santa's Workshop right now ... Don't judge me.
