Default Turbo Shops

Is there any good turbo shops that rebuild turbo's in Canada. I want to convert my k26/6 to a k27/6.

Thanks

Try http://www.bramall-turbo.com/ they re-build turbos for most of the US companies.

I also want to say hi to Rallly Guy and congrats on his S2 purchase. We certainly should get together again sometime.

I called them and they want $1650. Thats way to much. In the States the rebuild go's for $600 to $ 650.

I don't think you will get it done for much cheaper then $650us here in Canada. However, a turbo rebuild/upgrade can really vary in quality, I wouldn't go with a company just because it's cheaper. My friend had his K27/7 smoke like hell after six months.... not a good deal for saving a couple of bucks.

I had my injectors cleaned at Dynamic Diesel Fuel Injection and Turbos, 297-1440. They might be able to do it, and are reasonable. They're big truck boys, and the price was right. Look under fuel injection in the yellow pages.

I don't think that Bramall is a good source for Turbo work anymore. Ruperrt, the former owner sold out a few years ago and I don't know what their work is like. There must be some decent U.S. sources for this work, no? Beside, isn't anyone who's anyone going with Ball Bearing turbos on 951s nowadays?

It's like the twilight zone. I don't even recognize any of those users from 2003.

Hey if the total cost is not too much more, why not buy and service it in Canada and keep everyone employed.
