Speedlines or BBS LM for a 993?
after one year without a p-car, got a 1995 993 carrera in taipei. looking forward to be able to take it out for a spin once it is back from the garage.
now looking for a set of rims to replace the 17 cups wheel.
RS speedlines (will have to wait) or BBS LM as the 2 front runner
Other list of things to do includes
1. new set bilstein HDs (on order from gert carnewal) & M030 springs
2. replace front wishbones and bushes
3. new v belts
4. new spark plugs (beru)
5. air and pollen filters (K&N)
6. Oil filters and oil service
7. front protection grounding bar
8. new brakes rotor discs and pads
9. refurb cbrake allipers (reds)
10. upgrade engine mounts and arb bushes (deciding between a C4 or RS mounts)
11. front underside requires some work on grounding damage and rust proofing
excited, cannot wait to take the kids and missus for a round taiwan tour

So you finally got one!
Congrats on the new motor - looks.....er.......good(?)
Get the speedlines without a doubt - classic pcar and the bbs lm's are a pain in the backside to keep clean etc.
I have a set of regular cup wheels if you're interested - they have tyres on too.
Look forward to seeing this in the flesh.
Cheers
