Thumbs up some success

Folks,
Thanks so much for your input on this one. The car I was looking at most unfortuneately broke a timing belt a week after I looked at it. Needless to say I did still buy it for a very good price. A perfect project car.
On the down side a valve has snapped off and caused a lot of havoc in one of the cylinders, hole in piston to be exact. I am planning on doing much of the work myself, if anybody could advise a mentor for the project, that would be most appreciated

I'm sure you'll be seeing my posts in the near future!

Next stop, turbo...

Thanks again for all your help

Spangle.

The best mentor is this forum. Specifically the 924.944.968 watercooled Forum.
This area can help you along with any problem you encounter. There are huindreds of very knowledgeable people out there who have done it all before.
Good luck with your project

A fellow Aussie giving a delayed shout out here!

How is the Brisbane 944/952 community these days? Those Sydney boys seem to be having all the fun.
