Hi guys...Mike here with the stripped down 951.
Looks like Kolbjorn eventually succeeded in getting a post from me, I may be PC aware but forums aren't my thing !
nice to meet other water-coolies in the ME.
por4ever - i have access to a full set of workshop manuals, PET and 3 years stripping my car apart, so any help you need email me.
Hussam - seen you posting on the main site for a while now - any good dyno shops in UAE ?
I'll send some pics of my project once i get the hang of this posting - don't want to give to much away at the moment but it already has full coil over rear, Stoptech brakes all round (13"), Charlie arms, solid bushing etc.. engine will be a full house 3.1, virtually the same as Roberto Riccardi in US (500+rwhp)

and congratulations on the project, i believe you are the first one in the Middle East to have a track 951, a 3.1 as well?? damn, you should be pushing massive numbers too. I would love to hear some more info on the project via emails or pm's, that would be great!!!The Audi/Volkswagen/Porsche dealer has a dynometer here, that measures both power at the wheels and at the flywheel, i know two other places that have dynometers as well (but not sure what they measure).
PS: Rob is putting down 530+whp at 18.5psi at the moment, it is a 3.0L 8v

Think I should stop calling it a track car as it will still have carpet & music !
Engine is going to be virtually identical to Rob's as we both used Lindsey Racing for parts. The solid lifters should be an interesting mod.
I'll be in Dubai this weekend searching for an engine stand and folding engine crane - any idea where i can get these items on a thursday?
tried Vigor & Mutlitools trading in Deira already
If you want to meet, we will be at the Fairmont, under my name, for 2 nights.
drop by for a chat in the afternoon maybe ?

Hi Hussam, not much going on, I'm slowly but surely cosmstically "restoring" my 928, and otherwise enjoying the cooler climate. I'm off to Bahrain Sept 18-21, and that's about it!

944's and 968's are VERY hard to come by, the clean-good working ones anyway. The Boxster is all over the place, tell me the budget, year you are looking for and i shall help out
