We were lucky to have that track for as long as we did.

Isn't there a rumor about a new track in the Plano area?

Toyota VIP and Exec privilege

But in all seriousness about a year ago I received an email about someone wanting to build a track in that area. They listed all kinds of cars incl Ferrari's but not Porsche's.

There was a proposal for a track around Brenham, but it ran into significant hurdles. http://www.clubtrackholdings.com/ . That proposal goes all the way back to when TWS was going to close in 2015.

I wish there were more normal opportunities to get on driveway. It's a fun track, though pretty unforgiving if you go off.

What are the challenges to get a PCA or other event? Is it a private club facility?

I would like to know more! Went to the website, but not much on there other than Monday's look open to potential private rentals? Houston based drivers are really going to be stuck out when TWS is gonzo.
Anyone heard any news news out of bluebonnet since the chapel hill debacle?

There's a track being built by Lou, it's 250K to join right now. I've heard he won't allow any club racing which combined with the high cost of entry means it will fail.

We still have MSR, but I am going to go to tracks I have always wanted to, as the cost for COTA will pay for a trip to Barber or NOLA.

Was notified that the trees along the back stretch are now gone. Looks like next month's PDS will be my last TWS weekend. Damn it, this sucks.

However, there is MSRH and COTA. Trying NOLA, MSRC, Hallett would be good for me. TWS got me to the point of owning a dedicated track car and trailer so I'm in better shape for trying this than I otherwise would have been.

Yeah the visual at T6 is different now! Chin is there Aug 19 and OTD on the 20th.

MSRC 3.1 is well worth the tow IMO
