Mosport track walk notes
Off to Mosport for my annual pilgrimage in a couple of weeks and would love some track notes (especially with visuals).
Unfortunately Ross and Peter haven't done Mosport yet.
Any suggestions for sources would be great. I've been there more than a few times but would like to be better prepared.
Thanks

Nicely done! I was pretty pleased with a 1:36 last year. And you were at 1:28?!
Thanks for suggesting FF. Great guy and helpful to me before.
Hoping for good tips both for me and to help me be a better instructor (helping BMW Trillium region 6/9-11). Would love to have the level of knowledge I have about Tremblant and WGI.

Just curious, is your "second apex/exit" in turn 2 always on purpose? It seems like it...
The reason why I ask is that you are placing the car a few feet wider at the second apex compared to what I am comfortable with. True, that with a wider arc, you can carry more speed, but driving over the turtles on the exit, and trying to get the car back over for three seems very risky. Is it worth the extra tenths to do so? am I missing something?

Also very important to do a track walk, particularly to appreciate elevation changes. That will help you with less brake in 5a

I don't give gravity enough credit (I.e., Watkins Glen Toe, Mosport 5a), etc.

Rick, one thing I can share is that T8 (my all-time fave turn ) is slightly uphill and quite a bit faster than you think......on a good day I'm taking it with just a bit of a lift before entry. Of course I'm prolly still going in at half the pace as you
With a PB of 1:46.47 I still have work to do to get close to you
Be there on the 6th--can't wait!
