What separates the great drivers from the rest is tire management. What SV did with that first set of ultra soft tires was remarkable. The times he put down on what should have been worn out tires won him the race.

And in the interview he talked about how the tires came in and out of optimal window a couple of times per set and that they were like driving on ice after SC.

Just some observations:
1. It seems like the Mercs mess up the set up of one or the other drivers each race for the past 4 races.
2. Whomever pitted first between teammates (Ferrari and RBR) was jumped in the pits by the other teammate.
3. Kimi really doesn't have anything to pout about. Vettel saved his tires and put in the fastest laps of the race near the end of his 1st stint. Amazing pace.
