Very cool

Though I wonder how the little lego dude's safety gear held up.

I find it fascinating how, other than shattering, it really mimics the crash dynamics of a real car in an offset crash test. The lifting of the left rear and the tendency for the rear to try to fold up over the front and the way the roof ripples.

You can see the physics is all the same, albeit at a much smaller scale and with crappy welds and fasteners.

I have it from a very reliable source, that the drive was Aaron Holstrom out of BHR in Kansas City.

Too soon?

Lego needs to work on their cages!! Passenger door and wheels may be salvageable if RSR already took the motor...

If Lego Man would have braked earlier and down shifted a couple of gears, he could have prevented that crash.

Lego man's brakes failed. He's sure of it.
