Zone 1 WGI Pulling Trailer- Highway Construction warning
Just a heads up for people pulling trailers.
I-88, I-81 and Rt.17 / I-86, they all converge in Binghamton.
The construction is in every direction, use caution, there are some dips in the road and uneven surfaces.
Drive safe

Yes, they are still at it.
On the way back if you are looking to stay on 17/81 South toward Scranton/NY be sure to stay in the left lane after you get off on the two exit lanes that are marked. The exit ramp then splits and if you are not in the left lane you will get a tour of Binghamton. Oh well...
Seem to remember screwing up that turn differently last year.

They have installed a temporary military type Suspension bridge, if end up on that you will be in wrong lane and be forced to take I81 N.
DO NOT try to correct, accidents there almost daily.

Going West I never have had trouble getting to the track. I think I messed it up about 6 times coming East last year and only got it right 2 or 3. I'll have to follow your directions.

The amber alert signs were requesting people find alternative routes, I crossed over on I80 East, just to go up I476 to avoid the long traffic delays.
If you are coming from south and changing in Binghamton from I81 to Rt17/I86 West, drive cautiously.
As you decend hill coming into Binghamton, speed limit drops from 65, to 55, then to 45 within about a mile.
It is right there where you will need to watch lane assignment.
