Never seen such a group like this all at one race before. So glad to be part of it.
This is like the IROC races from the 1970s. All the big boys in the best class, all at WGI this year.
Holy crap.
PCA should have TV camera crews and broadcast the E races on FOX Sports.
Win this race and you will be a PCA legend.
This is like Indy 500 or Daytona 500 or Monaco F1 for E cars.

In an E class 911, coming down the hill towards Turn 2, a bit of a short shift into 4th gear, then squeeze the pedal to the metal without a millimeter to spare... and hold it until your rev limiter (in a 3.2) drills you in the absolute worst time in the transition of the Esses requiring you to release your right hand death grip to shift... It's as wild as it gets.
Like "jakermc" once said about the Kink at Road America- Every time I make it through the Esses (flat), I have a little celebration of life.

Astroman, don't short shift. Anywhere at WGI. For me, kink at Road America way scarier than WGI. FWIW, from t1 to bus stop is flat out, no lift, no blip, no short shift, just flat out.
