Great event with some intense racing...have to say most aggressive racing I have seen in PCA...(and i liked it!!).... wish there was that many cups to race against in PCA west coast.

Here the two races at COTA. Great but tough weekend with the dynamic weather changes. I didn't bring my rain tires (because they're worthless) so attempted Sprint 2 on RRs and had to DNF after two laps of ice skating. The video is pretty fun of that though....

You can see the addition of the windshield defroster Gladwill put together with local parts. Worked great and he saved the day as usual.

Enduro Start

Sprint 1 Start

I don't much like staring at your big jiggly white hose, Chris. You let Gladwill drill holes in your dash?

It was either that or no visibility!

Chris, can you describe the part of that that's just out of view out the side window? Is it just pulling in air from the white tubing end at the windowsill? NACA duct?

I think I have the same blower, and wired it up early last year but never needed to use it. I routed the air intake and everything under the dash which was a total pain, so putting it back the way you have it is appealing. Just wondering what's going on at the side window.

I can just make out the in-helmet chat you had with the 914 in the first video, lol.

Great driving Chris, congrats on the wins. And congrats to Gladwill for resetting the SPB track record to 2:32.9, you two were moving.

I mounted it with a tie wrap around the backside of the side mirror to pull fresh air from the outside and the mirror helped make sure it didn't pull in any water from spray. Not a permanent solution but worked well for the weekend.

The 4" blower moves a LOT of air and I'm actually going to add a removable elbow on it to point at me when it's not raining. Pulling fresh air from the outside and pointing it at me should keep the cab a lot cooler. I could actually feel the air deflecting off the windshield and hitting me.

Nice driving - especially in these conditions and on those tires!
