Thanks.

And a reminder that if you are not racing you can volunteer to help run the club race. Nothing like being at a flag station to get a great seat to watch the racing. Just saying....

+1

I volunteered for the Twin Sprint Rumble in 2014 and was a flagger at the left hander. What an awesome time.

The last two years I have been club racing so I appreciate all the volunteers. It really is a fun time when you volunteer - you get up close and personal with the race.

I've never run with CVR or at LRP (run mostly with RTR and NNJR). What kind of DE schedule (i.e. how much track time) is during the Club Race weekend on April 20-21? Planning to be there to support my friend in his club race and trying decide whether to do DE or just come up for Saturday?

Thursday April 20 is usually a great day for both advanced drivers and racers. Usually two run groups, racers and advanced, and half hour run groups all day. If you have never driven LRP, you owe to yourself. Friday is usually mixed between practices and a DE.

I'm glad so. Ah give CVR high praise. I'm not sure if I'll get to my first one yet this year but I know next year is for sure. Fingers crossed it works out.

Default Palmer July 14 and 15

Lee Carpentier will again be our Pro Coach for both days of this event, July 14 and 15. He was a huge asset last season and both his classrooms were filled to capacity. You will want to book time with him early as we expect his schedule will fill quickly.

Lee does a great job.

If you haven't had an instructor since you have been signed off you are doing yourself a huge disservice. One session with a pro instructor, or even in some cases a very experienced PCA instructor, can make a huge difference.

When there is a choice between paying to be coached, or a new set of tires, I drive another weekend on my raggedy-*** tires! (So long as they are safe.)

Half a day with a pro coach will cost you less than two front Hoosiers. Guess which will make you an better driver?

Hint: it's not the Hoosiers.
