I have fanatec pedals (with upgrade on brakes) and drive in socks. Much better control than shoes.

Work the brake bias back to 43% or so. Default setting is way too much front bias.

It helps with tightly sprung ones too. There's so little travel in my Perfect Pedal that you really have to be able to judge the pressure, especially with this car.

Feels so weird to drive in socks and a helmet.

You need to bleed a few cc's out of the PP.

You needs a proper load cell based pedal set like Fanatec V3 with brake upgrade or HE /HPP type for good brake modulation without lockup. I have been through Logitech, TRS500 and Fanatec V2 and V3. Thinking seriously about HE but I recently upgraded Fanatect V3 ($299) with their brake upgrade kit ($20). The change was dramatic.

A good test for your brake pedal set IMO would be to drive the skippy car at Interlagos and try to brake at the 50 board for Turn 1 and still make the apex. If you can do that without crashing and locking up, brake pedals (and the driver) are pretty good. It is a short down hill braking zone.

The Fanatec V3 is the most bang for the buck, although the PP is a step up. Beyond that, to get better feel you would spend 50-100% more than the PP and the V3's combined.

If you want to sell your fanatec towards your upgrade let me know
