Yes it's a known problem,short version is early cams has a diamond plate coating that wears out.
The rebuild includes full inspection of entire engine, new heads,cams,followers etc...up to 2017 spec.

Bought a Trailex a few years back from Glen, a stand up rennlist seller and well known in the PCA Club Race paddock. My experience is you can buy with confidence from Glen.
