Question on NT01 lifetime
I'm running NT01's for the first time this season. My understanding is that they can be driven down to the cords. The tires are now worn to the point that the wear holes are gone. How much more life is left in them before they cord? Or should I just replace them proactively at this point?

You have a long way to go. You can drive them until they have no more grooves and they are slicks -- typically before they cord

Agreed. It's all about your current camber setup. There can be a good bit of life left but if your camber isn't spot on the shoulders may cord prematurely. All depends on the track surface as well. If it is hard on tires, once the grooves are gone you may only be good for a single weekend. In this circumstance it's great to have a second set of wheels and tires. It's rough to throw away the tire's peak performance bc you are not sure they can survive another weekend. NT01's get faster as the grooves disappear.

Put some camber in them...
and have 2 sets of wheels, one (1) set for the street, and one (1) dedicated to the track. Just to be safe, take a spare front and rear and stuff them into the car...they'll fit. You car will stink like tires..buts that's racing.
I'd suggest -3 degrees for the front, and -2.5 degrees rear. Start with Cold 28 psi front and Cold 27 psi rear. Drive the hell out of them and they'll get to 36 degrees at the end of a 20 minute session....this is just a starting point. Based on your future experience you may want to raise or lower these PSIs. Note, I run a rear engine 993 at 3,200 lbs track weight.
If the track has some serious turns, on the second racing /time trial day, put the right side tires on the left and the left side on to the right on the second day...now sit back and enjoy 20 + heat cycles, as most of us have.
Nitto NT-01 are the best bargain going, more heat cycles per buck than an others I know of

Here's are my corded rears. I had no tread left on the rears and they lasted 4 days, 2 at the glen during an advance day, and two normal DE days at mosport. You'll start to feel the cording on the inside edge. The rear tires for me on my gt3rs lasted 17 track days with an average of 5 sessions a day so I'm getting around 80 heat cycles which is amazing.

I LOVE me some Nt01s. My favorite tire around.
OP, these are not to be driven on anything over a slightly DAMP track...... Unless you have track insurance and want to learn car control techniques.....

Yep, even brand new. The NT-05 isn't a bad low cost rain tire. Good in the wet and won't chunk in the dry, so it's good for those days of dry tire/rain tire uncertainty.
WRT to the NT-01s, they are good down to the cords - the cords are the wear indicator. They get faster and faster until you feel a small fall off in grip and they start to sing more in the corners. That is them telling you they are done as at least one will be corded.
With a good alignment, I've gotten two weekends out of NT-01s that had slicked and looked about done. Having an extra mounted fresh set is handy to maximize their use.
